Senior Nurse (Wards) - Guildford

Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a Senior Veterinary Nurse (inpatient wards) to join its oncology and soft tissue referral hospital based in Guildford, Surrey.

You will provide effective operational management of the inpatient wards, organise and deliver high quality nursing care from admission to discharge and clinical leadership to the hospital-wide team.

In addition, supervise, mentor and guide all clinical staff working within the wards. Assist in the organisation of the clinical flow of the cases coming through the hospital, helping to manage the work list for the day and communication to the owners.

Therefore it is desirable that the successful candidate has experience of working in a referral setting and knowledge of advanced high level nursing care.

The post holder will be part of the nursing rota covering out of hours and weekends after an initial 6 month period.
