RVN - Oakham

A registered veterinary nurse is required to join our small animal team.

The Practice

Our nursing team has a fantastic reputation for excellent patient and client care, and you will provide gold-standard nursing to a wide variety of cases. As a teaching hospital for the University of Nottingham Vet School, you will work alongside some of the leading specialists in their field.

Rutland is a beautiful, rural county which offers plenty of variety for leisure pursuits, particularly cycling, sailing and country activities.

The Role
You will be involved in all areas of nursing, first-opinion and at times, referral level, and will contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient and client care. The varied caseload will provide plenty of scope for your personal development. You will also be involved with client education through organising and delivering, as a team, client events. A career structure awaits the right candidates as we continue to build our team and the services we provide to our clients and their pets.

Successful Candidate
With a minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience you will demonstrate enthusiasm and self-motivation; you will enjoy working as part of a team but also be confident to deal with the challenges of emergency and critical care nursing out-of-hours. A desire to learn from those around you and independently.
