Job Details
We are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to expand our current team!
The Practice
We have a team of 4 RVNs, 2 ANAs and 3 FTE small animal vets, but as part of a larger mixed species practice, there are often many more people on site, with an option to get involved in some large animal surgeries if you so wish.
The Role
The successful candidate would mainly be working at our main surgery in Harleston - A short drive south of Norwich; and as an additional member of staff we can accommodate part-time or full-time hours with 2 in 5 Saturday mornings until 12 noon. Some experience is preferable although sole charge is not necessary for this position.
The Package
CPD is actively encouraged and funded, as are memberships of appropriate professional bodies. This is because career development is a priority for us, along with maintaining a good work-life balance. We offer 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time) and a 5.30pm finish on 4 out of 5 weekdays each week.

Since moving to Oakwood House in the early 1990’s our small animal clinic has continued to evolve with the changing trends and modern developments in veterinary medicine, whilst still maintaining a personal service for all our clients. Continuity of care is as important to us as it is to our patients, and we will make every effort for you to see the same vet at each visit if at all possible.
We provide our own out-of-hours cover to ensure you will always be attended by a veterinary surgeon from this practice at this practice. Our ethos is to treat our patients as we would want our own pets treated and we consider that providing our own emergency service helps us in achieving this level of both patient and customer care.
