What is the role?
Become part of a busy 24 hour charity hospital where you will see a huge variety of cases and get the job satisfaction you deserve, using your nursing skills to their full potential. We have a vacancy for a Registered Veterinary Nurse at our animal hospital in Victoria. The Victoria hospital sees a high caseload of emergency and critical care cases surgical and medical. There is a huge benefit with being able to care for our patients from the day they were admitted right through to the day of discharge. We also strive to promote a high standard of animal welfare and support our clients as much as we can.
With proven experience as a qualified Veterinary Nurse, you will have good interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate effectively with people at all levels both internally and externally. You will be resourceful, efficient and well organised with the ability to share information and ideas.
What is required?
We are looking for people with the following:
- Fully qualified Veterinary Nurse
- Registered with RCVS
- Confident in all aspects of veterinary nursing
- Demonstrable customer service skills
- Use of computerised records
It would also be great if you had:
- Experience of running nurse clinics, working in busy wards and a high caseload of surgeries
- Worked in a charity veterinary hospital before but not essential
