Salary £28,000 per annum. Full Time (4 days per week)

We are seeking a TB tester to join our team at Knox & Devlin. Supported by a dedicated team of vets, nurses, administrators and management you will be encouraged to attend generously funded CPD.

As a practice we will be willing to train the right candidate to clinical standard and the opportunity to join our team undertaking a clinical role.

Tasks will include:

• Communication with practice employees with regard to TB Testing Diary, provision of paperwork/handheld computer devices and Tuberculin
• Prompt and timely arrival on farm, fully prepared and equipped with correct equipment and paperwork required for each test.
• TB Testing with specific adherence to the APHA OV Instructions for TB and SOP's including hygiene, biosecurity and health & safety requirements.
• Communication of test results and implications to farmers at the time of the TB test.
• Provision of correct paperwork to farmers after test completion.
• Maintenance and cleaning of TB Testing equipment, Personal Protective Equipment and clothing.
• Prompt return of TB test paperwork/handheld computer to practice location.
• Responsibility to ensure TB Test information is uploaded and signed off correctly on SAM web portal within set timescales.
