Job Details
We are a 16-vet RCVS accredited farm animal practice covering Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
Within our team we have European (ECBHM and ECSRHM) and RCVS Diplomats together with an RCVS Certificate, FRCVS, PhD, MBA, ECBHM resident and two interns.
Our recent product development focus has resulted in technician led R-SQP, breeding/embryo transfer and foot trimming services, together with our training centre in Hampshire where we deliver two-fifths of the production animal tuition to the RVC final year students.
The ideal candidate will have significant clinical experience preferably with or working towards a Certificate/Diploma and an interest in taking on dairy and beef suckler herd routines and possibly a management and business development role within the practice.
You will be required to work a 40 hour week and be included on the 1:4 on call rota where two vets will be on call at any one time.

Pet owners using the services of our small animal department will be looked after by veterinary surgeons working solely with pet animals and their owners. As a first opinion general practice we aim to provide the highest standard of care to all our patients, and have highly trained staff who regularly attend meetings to develop and advance the service we offer.
We are proud that we are both a RCVS Tier 2 Small Animal Accredited Practice and a Feline Advisory Bureau “Feline Friendly Practice” Gold Award Winner. We have also been a contender for “Practice of the Year” in the Pet Plan Award Scheme.
We have passed the rigorous assessments required to be a training and assessment practice (TP) for trainee veterinary nurses and we are a centre for Extra Mural Studies for veterinary students. We also regularly assist in projects to push forward the frontiers of veterinary knowledge and treatments for our pets.
