Job Details
One of our TB Testers is moving on to pastures new and we now require an additional tester to bring our existing experienced team back up to seven vets
- Competitive salary and conditions for a four day week
- Ideally will already be qualified to TB test, but not essential
The Practice
Shropshire Farm Vets Ltd is an independently owned 16-vet farm-only practice based just outside Shrewsbury. We are primarily a dairy practice with herds ranging up to 1500 cows, but also with plenty beef and sheep work.
There is no small animal work and there is definitely no equine work. We actively promote a strong ethos of both clinical and wellbeing support throughout the team.

Hanwood Office/Pharmacy Hours: 8:15am – 17:30pm Monday-Friday.
OOH medicine requests: Medicines are dispensed out of hours by the vet on call if urgently required. We encourage clients to make medicine orders during the week where possible, to keep the vet on call free for emergencies and in order to take advantage of the pay-at-the-time discount.
Shrewsbury Market Office: every Tuesday morning 9:30am-12noon.
Orders placed before 4pm on the Monday will be ready for collection from the Market on Tuesday morning.
