Veterinary Surgeon, Graduates Considered – Lancashire
My client in the picturesque Lancashire region is recruiting for a permanent veterinary surgeon to join their friendly team in an independent hospital.
The position would be full time, working a 4.5 day week comprised of 3 x 9am - 6pm, a 9am - 1pm half day and a 2pm - 8pm late shift. The weekend/OOH rota is highly attractive, on a 1:6 basis you would be on call for Saturday night, 6pm - 8am, followed by a full week off. The practice places an emphasis on a good work life balance and this is just one of the ways they support this.
You would be working as part of a highly experienced 10 Vet team including certificate holders. There are 10 RVN's within the team along with a full complement of auxiliaries and support staff. This independent hospital is extremely well equipped with all of the usual toys in addition to laparoscopic surgical facilities, digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG and full ortho kit. The practice takes referrals, particularly in orthopedic cases from across the North West, so whatever your bias, the practice can support this.
As this position has become available due to growth, and due to the experience within the team, my client has advised that they are happy to take applications from vets of all experience levels, from recent graduates, to experienced surgeons potentially looking to take on a certificate.
For the successful candidate a highly attractive package is on offer to include, a generous salary, lots of CPD - fully funded and supported all the way to certificate level as well as other company benefits and a genuine work-life balance.
