Job Details
Established, tier 2 primary care and referral practice looking for an enthusiastic RVN.
We are a busy practice, full of enthusiasm and a tuck shop full of food.
The Practice
Established, Tier 2 primary care/referral practice. Referrals accepted in orthopaedic, dermatology and oncology. We are also a silver award CFC – running successful cat friendly nurse/vet clinics.
The Role
Varied rota with generous OOH and weekends. Typical 37.5hr weeks with paid overtime. Rota split between wards/theatre with option to consult if interested. 1 in 10 weekends. Regular lunch and learns and staff social events.
Successful Candidate
You must be enthusiastic, hard working and a team player. You mist strive for the highest standards of care for your clients and their pets.

RCVS/BVNA fees paid
Salary dependent on experience
Certs’s/specialised nursing encouraged and funded
4 weeks holiday and bank holidays with opportunity to earn holiday in lieu

Millennium Vets is a patient centred primary care and veterinary referral centre, in Braintree.
We’ve been part of the Braintree community since 1966 and the Coggeshall community since 1977, so we have history!
What’s more we have proudly remained independent. We moved from predominantly large to a small animal practice. In 2000 we relocated to a large purpose-built practice on the edge of Braintree. We continue to shape our practice and don’t tend to sit still!
Our client base is a mixture of new and also loyal longstanding clients who have been with our practice since ‘the old days’. We’re very much a community practice and offer our services at a fair price; doing as much as we can under one roof. This is aided by the referral services we offer and toys such as our CT scanner. Disciplines include: dermatology, oncology, orthopaedics, soft tissue and poultry medicine referrals (with visiting cardiology, ophthalmology and internal medicine clinicians).
The practice has a number of longstanding members of staff who have helped support the business through the years; with 26% in service for 10 years or longer. But whether longstanding or a new starter, investment in our staff at all levels is just as important for us, as are the equipment and facilities.
