Veterinary Surgeon - Wymondham

An exciting Veterinary Surgeon position has arisen in the picturesque market town of Wymondham!  

You will be part of a very friendly team of 2.5 vets with 2 experienced vets, 4 lovely nurses (3 RVNs and 1 student), 1 great receptionist and 1 skilled practice manager.

The Practice
Wymondham Vets is privately owned small animal practice in the heart of the market town. We are about to change the premises and we have great plans for the future. We are a silver award cat friendly practice with separated cat and dog waiting room.

The practice can offer a complete range of both diagnostic services, including digital radiography, echography, blood profiling, urinalysis, microscopy and surgical facilities including dentistry. We are open from 8.30 am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 1pm Saturday. We use a dedicated OOH service for emergencies.

We only have one site in the town centre. We will relocate to new premises nearby within the next few months.

The Role
As a Veterinary Surgeon you will be able to follow your cases from diagnosis to investigation and it is a very fulfilling position. You will be assisted by very competent and hardworking RVNs. The position is for 3 or 4 days a week and Saturday on rotation 1-in-3 or 4.

Successful Candidate
We would like the candidate to be friendly, happy to work in a team, to be able to develop a strong client relation and to help develop the practice further. Potential for becoming a partner for the right candidate.

The Package
Great salary, 5 weeks holiday (pro rata) and funded and encouraged CPD, RCVS, VDS and BSAVA included and pension scheme. Salary from £30,000 to £47,000 based on experience. We also offer a percentage reward based on generated profit.
