Veterinary Nurse – Part Time, 4 days per week
Based at RSPCA Harmsworth Hospital, North London

We require a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our shelter medicine team based in the iconic RSPCA Harmsworth Hospital in North London.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your nursing skills across all areas of first opinion practice and to develop your coaching skills, while providing positive and proactive support to vet and vet nurse students in a supportive learning environment. No formal teaching qualification is required, although clinical coaching experience is an advantage. The role also offers free access to RVC CPD.
You will be working four days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) at the busy hospital based in Finsbury Park. You will be teaching final year vet students on a low cost/high quality neuter and dentistry service, overseeing patient prep, procedure and recovery processes with the team.
The successful applicant will be passionate about providing a high level of client and patient care, sharing knowledge with colleagues and students and have strong clinical experience. Experience working in a shelter medicine environment would be an advantage.
General hours of work are 9am-5pm unless in exceptional circumstances.
