Mixed Veterinary Surgeon – West of Scotland

Enthusiastic mixed veterinary surgeon required to join our team. 1-in-9 rota, including OOH work.

The Practice
We are a 17-vet, RCVS accredited, mixed practice in Paisley and Greenock with close links to GUVS. 1-in-9 rota, including OOH work. There is the opportunity to work up cases with the support of experienced colleagues. We have excellent facilities, including fully equipped lab with haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte and therapeutic monitoring equipment, ultrasound scanners, digital radiography and dental x-ray machine, endoscope and the latest dental machine and equipment. Our large animal side is well equipped with fertility equipment, portable scanner, endoscope, mobile digital x-ray and processor. Monthly visits from a cardiorespiratory specialist and a diagnostic imager attends fortnightly. In house ophthalmologist certificate holder and acupuncturist.

We are located on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland. Situated only 10 minutes from Glasgow airport. We are close to Glasgow town centre and 1 hour from Edinburgh. Beautiful Loch Lomond is only a 30 minute drive away.

The Role
You will work as part of a team working a 1 in 9 rota.  Your role of a mixed vet will be a varied case load of small animal consults and ops, large animal calls and some equine work. This can be discussed at your interview.
