Night Veterinary Surgeon - Warwickshire

My client in Warwickshire is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated night vet, who thrives off working to a high standard, to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. 

You will join an experienced team of 4 day vets, 12 nurses and 4 receptionists in a modern veterinary hospital that offers a safe and secure working environment in the beautiful region of Warwickshire. The hospital has 3 consult rooms, 1 dental room, a theatre, imaging room and separate cat and dog kennel areas as well as isolation kennels and recovery kennels in a large prep room with 2 additional work stations. 

They use isoflurane anesthesia with piped gas and extensive monitoring equipment including multi-perameter monitors on all anesthesia machines. They have and use a ventilator in theatre. They routinely perform laparoscopic ovariectomies and therefore have the facilities to perform other laparoscopic and thorascopic procedures.

They have CR digital radiography and DR dental radiography, ultrasound capable of excellent abdominal and cardiac scans. They have a flexible and rigid endoscopy, Intravenous fluid pumps, dedicated constant-rate infusion pumps, blood pressure machines, lactate monitor, in house biochemistry and haematology, microscope and eye tonometry. They also perform most soft tissue and orthopedic procedures including TTA.

As part of the night staff you will be supported by a fantastic team of day vets and nurses. They have nurses with advanced diploma qualifications and vets with certificates in surgery, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, endoscopy & endosurgery, emergency medicine and dermatology.

You will work 26 weeks of the year on an attractive 7 nights on, 7 nights off rota with a full-time salary and benefits.
