The practice is in Chesterfield which is a pleasant market town. Several leisure centres, a large cinema, theatre, shopping, many pubs, a medieval centre, the Shambles and the famous Crooked Spire. Easy access to the M1, Sheffield, Nottingham and the Peak District National Park with such gems as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall. Both Sheffield and Nottingham have a lively social scene, good restaurants, pubs, music venues and friendly locals. Chesterfield railway station has trains to London, Derby, Sheffield and the rest of Britain. A five minute walk from the town centre which is a very pleasant market town.

Full or part time small animal veterinary surgeon – we can accommodate all levels of experience, good case load, excellent diagnostic facilities and experienced vets including three certificate holders to support clinical learning. Thirteen qualified nurses who are keen to help and support patient care. We provide continuity of cases by providing our own out of hours cover, each vet covering one in six nights and one weekend in six, there is an on-call nurse as well. CPD encouraged to certificate level.

Salary commensurate with experience. Paid CPD. VDS and RCVS subs paid. 6 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. 4.5 day week. Out of hours bonus.
