Experienced veterinary nurse required to join our nursing team in a well-equipped hospital practice.
The Practice
Mount Vets is a busy and supportive first opinion veterinary hospital with certificate holders in medicine, ophthalmology and surgery. We have an experienced nursing team with dedicated night nurses providing 24 hour on site nursing care enabling us to manage a varied caseload. We have recently moved into a brand new purpose built hospital on the outskirts of Wellington, Somerset.
Mount Vets is located on the Somerset/ Devon border with easy access to the M5. We are close to the historic Blackdown Hills, the Quantocks for mountain biking and the North Devon coast for fantastic beaches and surfing
The Role
Experienced Veterinary Nurse required to join our team in a busy purpose built and well-equipped hospital practice in Wellington, Somerset. We have a varied caseload, high standards of nursing care and great opportunities for personal development. Surgical and medical rotas are equally shared. We have an excellent out of hours rota (only one weekend in 6 and no week-nights), a competitive salary and CPD is encouraged.
Successful Candidate
We are looking for an RVN who always puts the patient and client first. A great team player who excels in a busy hospital environment.
The Package
We have a company NEST pension, private healthcare and an annual CPD allowance of £500.
