RVN - Deputy Head Nurse - Staines, Surrey

We are a busy Tier 2, 5 branch, independent training practice. We currently require a highly motivated RVN to provide high standard of patient and client care in the role of Deputy Head Nurse. You should be efficient, have a keen interest in theatre and inpatient care and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a management role is desirable but not essential, perhaps you are looking to take the next step in your career.

You must be able to integrate well into a team environment and wish to work to your full potential. Team work is essential. We utilise nurses to their pull potential and actively encourage and fund CPD including certificates. The practice has a varied case load fed in from 4 satellite branches.

The successful candidate will be working in conjunction with our highly skilled veterinary team which include specialists from multiple disciplines. We pride ourselves on our inpatient care, surgery abilities and utilise nurses to their full potential.

Our practice is well equipped including facilities for ECG, ultrasonography, digital radiography, laparoscopy, arthroscopy, orthopaedic surgery and access to MRI. .

The rota includes rotations of hospital, surgery, consults and branch work.  We offer an excellent salary commensurate with experience. Funded CPD (Inc Certs). 1:10 weekend rota with good time off in lieu. No OOH.
