Veterinary Surgeon - Brighton

A very exciting position has opened up within our Brighton based hospital for someone to join our first opinion vet team. We are in need of an experienced GP first and foremost, ideally with at least 3 years clinical experience under their belts already. Though we need a good GP, specific interests can and will be supported, this is something we are very passionate about and certificates are regularly supported.

The vet team you would be joining is 6-strong at the moment. The first opinion team benefit from the support of our fantastic team of night vets and also the nursing team which is comprised entirely of RVN’s. Our hospital is brilliantly equipped with everything you could ask for, including CT scanner.

A 4 day working week is on offer with 1 in 3 weekends and no OOH’s. Working hours as standard are either 8-6 or 9-6. The work/life balance we provide really is second to none and the working environment along with the case continuity you benefit from makes this a lovely place to work all in all, from both a personal and a career point of view

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications (isn’t that always the case!?) and 5 weeks holiday are provided. VDS, RVCS & BSAVA memberships are covered along with a contribution to healthcare too.
