Job Details

RVN needed to lead new branch in Carrington, Manchester opening October 2018. Independent, 100% SA practice. Full time or job share considered.

The Practice
We are an independent 100% small animal practice with a friendly, supportive team. We place great emphasis on patient care and client support.  We have all the usual toys including digital and dental x-ray, rigid endoscope and ultrasound. We encourage our nurses to be actively involved in schedule 3 work and nursing clinics. We are proud to be a vet nurse training practice and have good links with the local colleges.

The Role
We are looking for a registered nurse to lead the team at our new Carrington branch, opening October 2018.  It will be a full time position but we would consider a job share.  We need someone who already holds a clinical coach qualification or who would be willing to undertake the training towards it to supervise our trainee vet nurses. They will work weekend mornings on a rota basis at the Urmston branch on a rota basis with the other nurses but no out of hours.

Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate would be passionate about their profession, enthusiastic, motivated and a keen team player who is happy to support less experienced members of the team. They would be interested in animal welfare and preventative medicine and would want to do the best for all animals in their care. They would be keen to share their knowledge and best practice with other staff members.

The Package
We offer a salary commensurate with experience, a generous staff discount and holiday allowance. There is funded CPD. It will be a 40 hour week with 1 in 4 weekend mornings on a rota basis and no out of hours.
