Job Details
We have an exciting opportunity for a vet with ideally at least 2 years’ experience, to join our superb team of enthusiastic vets.
We are an RCVS accredited practice with a fantastic team of 8 experienced RVNs. We operate our main surgery out of an idyllic converted barn in rural Suffolk, with a branch surgery in central Ipswich.
The successful applicant will participate in our on call rota (currently 1:4) for which they will receive time off in lieu. The practice is well equipped with a brand new ultrasound machine and in-house blood analysers to name a few. We aim to provide first class affordable veterinary care to our large loyal client base.
We offer a generous salary, RCVS fees paid by practice, 4.5 day week (4 day week after weekend on call), 5 days generously funded CPD allowance, 5 weeks holiday, out of hours work bonus scheme, private medical insurance and CertAVP actively encouraged.

Since we established the Barn Veterinary Practice at Copdock in 1986, we have taken great pride in providing first class veterinary care to our clients in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The Copdock surgery was designed and purpose-built within a converted Suffolk barn, to offer a very highly equipped, modern facility benefiting from a tranquil location only a few minutes from the centre of Ipswich.
As the practice grew, we expanded with the acquisition of the Ashcroft Road Surgery in 1989. From a team of two back in 1986 we have now grown to a team of 25 in 2014.
