Job Description

Due to recent growth, we are looking for two additional veterinary surgeons to join an established and successful team! The practice offers easy access to the A12 and A14 as well as the beautiful nearby coast and countryside.

The practice opened 6 years ago, if you decide to join you will be joining a friendly and supportive team made up of 3 vets, 5 RVNs, 1 student nurse, 1 veterinary care assistant and 4 receptionists. The team hold a variety of interests including animal behaviour, animal welfare and (perhaps most importantly) cake and the partners are happy to support individual areas of interest.

Person Specification

Due to the recent growth, we are recruiting for two additional vets. The partners are offering one opportunity to an experienced vet and the second role would suit a personable recent graduate. Experienced vets must be confident with routine surgical and medical cases and both vets will need to enjoy building relationships with patients, clients and the team.

There is a real variety of cases, including those from the local animal rehoming centre and you will have access to excellent facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, ECG and in-house Idexx equipment; Catalyst 1, Lasercyte and Sedivue. In addition you will be working within a close team that has a really good team feeling. 

Both roles are full time with a weekend rota (Saturdays only). There is no OOHs responsibility with this role ensuring a great work/life balance.
