Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon

My client in the beautiful Warwickshire region has an exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon with a passion for emergency and critical to work nights in their busy hospital alongside a friendly team.

This position would be full time, working just 26 weeks of the year on a 7 on, 7 off pattern which makes for a great work life balance.

You would be working as part of a dedicated night team, committed to providing the highest possible standards of patient and client care. Whilst on shift you would always be supported by a qualified RVN. The hospital has 3 consult rooms, 1 dental room, a theatre, imaging room and separate cat and dog kennel areas as well as isolation kennels and recovery kennels in a large prep room with 2 additional work stations.

There is also an experienced day team of 4 vets, with a wide range of certificates between them. The clinic is fully equipped with digital radiography and dental radiography, ultrasound capable of excellent abdominal and cardiac scans as well as a flexible and rigid endoscopy and laparoscopic + thorascopic surgical equipment.

My client is happy to fund mutually beneficial certificates and has both the equipment and caseload to support a wide range of potential specialities.

For the successful applicant a generous salary package, up to the value of £70,000 dependent on experience including accommodation or allowance, a vehicle or allowance, CPD funded to certificate level as well as funded professional fees and a genuine work life balance.
