Veterinary Surgeon, Wolverhampton

A new opportunity has become available for a Small Animal Hospital Vet with a fantastic hospital in the West Midlands. This is a role within a brilliant team of GP Vets with Certificate Holders to work alongside.

The Role

• Tier 3 RCVS Accredited Hospital with 6 branches around the area - the Vet will work at the Hospital site and will cover 2 branches
• They have the usual equipment with the recent addition of an excellent my lab 7 Doppler ultrasound and also are currently in the process of a CT scanner fit and starting laparoscopic ovariectomy
• There are 6 vets within the team including a Medicine cert holder, Cardiology cert holder, Surgery Cert Holder and Imaging cert Holder
• They are a nurse training practice with 10 plus nurses
• The rota is 4 days per week plus 1-3 weekends with no out of hours
• The role includes a mix of inpatient care, ops and consulting. There is no night out of hours as we have 2 night Vets, working one week off/on.
