Vet (Full Time) Berkshire

Experienced Small Animal Vet, to join our friendly, busy first opinion hospital. 4 day week with 1 in 5 shared weekend rota.

The Practice
Moor Cottage is a lovely old building with excellent facilities in a very accessible location. We pride ourselves in providing first class clinical care and have a fantastic range of equipment including laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography and laser therapy. We are very proud to have been awarded the Gold Award Cat Friendly Practice and have recently opened a separate facility onsite for cat only clinics.
 
As part of the vet team you would be working alongside a friendly/helpful/knowledgeable team of 13 nurses, our fabulous receptionist and support staff. As we have Hospital status we provide 24-hour hospitalisation and use Vets Now for the out of hour’s emergency cover.

The Role
4 day a week rota with share of weekends (nights and Sunday afternoons covered by Vets Now).
A varied role, mixture of first opinion consultation and surgery.

Successful Candidate
Ability to work in a busy dynamic environment and be part of the team with other vets, the nurses and reception staff. Able to manage individual cases to provide the best continuity of care to our patients.
