SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARY SURGEON REQUIRED TO JOIN OUR FRIENDLY FIRST OPINION TEAM IN MAIDSTONE KENT.
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our person first opinion team in our large (fifteen vet), long established, very well equipped, independent RCVS Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital. There is ample opportunity to work up your own cases alongside highly motivated and experienced vets using the extensive facilities, and develop both professionally and personally. After hours care is provided by our own on-site emergency centre.
The successful applicant will be a MRCVS, fluent in written and spoken English, with suitable UK experience, and well-rounded general practice skills.
Salary dependent on experience. Benefits in kind (value £2,250) include paid for RCVS, BVA, BSAVA, VDS and AVIVA private health care, with subsidised membership of local Living-Well Gym. CPD allowance five days and £1,500 per annum.

Our highly experienced and friendly night staff provides complete emergency cover throughout the whole night, every weekend and bank holidays 365 days a year.

We have both a veterinary surgeon and a veterinary nurse that stay on the premises during P.E.T.S hours of business. We can therefore respond promptly to any accidents or emergencies that occur giving you complete peace of mind that your pets will receive excellent care 24hours a day no matter how big or small the problem.
PETS provide excellent care for hospitalised patients.
We are conveniently based in a central location at Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital in Maidstone. There are five directors that oversee the company but we have separate staff that work the night hours only, so they are always refreshed and able to work to the best of their ability. Operating from Newnham Court gives us access to up to date anaesthetic, surgical and laboratory equipment to ensure your pet has the best possible care.
