Job Details
Small animal/equine independent practice in a lovely rural part of North Yorkshire seek full-time vet, preferably with some experience.
Varied case load, 1-in-4 rota, 4-day week, 2 weekdays off when you've worked a weekend. Car if needed, accommodation allowance. Friendly team, with lovely clients.
We have both small animal and equine inpatient and surgical facilities. Our current vet has been with us for three years and is moving back south.

Galtres Veterinary Surgery is a busy equine and small animal practice, based in Flawith, between Easingwold and York. We cover a wide area, including our neighbouring villages of Alne, Tollerton, Tholthorpe, Helperby, Linton on Ouse and Newton on Ouse, but with clients from as far afield as Leeds, Selby and Northallerton.
We offer a comprehensive and caring 24 hour service with a small but dedicated team of staff. We are committed to providing a personalised and high quality level of care.
Our equine patients range from family ponies to stud farms, racing yards and performance horses. We offer a full ambulatory service in addition to excellent inpatient facilities.
For small animals we also provide a caring and personal approach. We supply a complete range of routine medical and surgical treatments, and have high quality facilities and equipment.
