Senior Equine Vet Required at Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership on the Norfolk-Suffolk border.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced equine vet, at our modern, purpose-built equine clinic on the Norfolk-Suffolk border. The prospective candidate would be encouraged to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of clinical activities within the practice and professionally motivated to help our practice move towards the future. The position would ideally be suited to candidates desiring a leadership role within the practice, comfortable with providing support and guidance to junior clinicians and to assist in ensuring the positive promotion, development and continued expansion of clinical services.
We have an experienced, enthusiastic and friendly team of equine vets and nurses with a wide range of experience levels. Our well-equipped clinic includes facilities catering toward a wide array of medical and surgical practices including a separate unit on-site which houses Norfolk’s only equine gamma scintigraphy. Our clinic provides an extensive range of diagnostic, reproductive, medical and surgical therapeutic services to a broad population of equestrian owners throughout the surrounding region.
Salary commensurate with experience, along with company vehicle/allowance. Generous holiday and CPD allowance plus access to staff benefits scheme.

The farm animal veterinary surgeons are based at both our Long Stratton and Costessey clinics. This allows us to provide routine and emergency farm animal cover to a large geographic area; an approximate 30 miles radius around our clinics. Our normal working area extends from the east coast of Norfolk and north Suffolk, southerly towards Harleston, Eye and Diss, and west towards Thetford, Watton and East Dereham. The northern boundary extends toward Cromer, around Aylesham and towards Dereham. The boundaries are not exact and some clients lie out with these areas. New clients considering registering with the practice are welcome to contact either clinic to clarify whether or not they lie within the area of cover.
