Experienced Equine Vet Required at Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership – Brooke Equine Clinic in Norfolk.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced equine clinician, with surgical expertise, at our modern, purpose-built equine clinic on the Norfolk-Suffolk border. A prospective candidate would be encouraged to increase our clinic’s caseload and be professionally motivated to help lead our practice into the future.
We have an experienced, enthusiastic and friendly team of equine vets and nurses, including an Equine Sports Medicine certificate holder. Our well-equipped clinic includes facilities for digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasonography, shockwave therapy, battery operated dental kit and stabling for eight horses (including heated mare and foal accommodation and turn-out paddocks). We also offer a separate unit on-site which house’s Norfolk’s only equine gamma scintigraphy camera. Our clinic provides an extensive range of diagnostic, reproductive, medical and surgical therapeutic serviced to a broad population of equestrian owners throughout the surrounding region.
Salary commensurate with experience, along with company vehicle/allowance. Generous holiday and CPD allowance plus access to staff benefits scheme,1:5 OOH rota with time off in lieu. Relocation package available.

The farm animal veterinary surgeons are based at both our Long Stratton and Costessey clinics. This allows us to provide routine and emergency farm animal cover to a large geographic area; an approximate 30 miles radius around our clinics. Our normal working area extends from the east coast of Norfolk and north Suffolk, southerly towards Harleston, Eye and Diss, and west towards Thetford, Watton and East Dereham. The northern boundary extends toward Cromer, around Aylesham and towards Dereham. The boundaries are not exact and some clients lie out with these areas. New clients considering registering with the practice are welcome to contact either clinic to clarify whether or not they lie within the area of cover.
