We have an exciting opportunity at Abbeydale Vets in Blackburn, Lancashire for a full-time enthusiastic SA Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and happy team.
The practice has excellent facilities and sees a variety of cases. Facilities include K-Laser, ultrasound, in-house haematology and biochemistry, digital radiography and a newly refurbished operating theatre.
We would consider part time/job sharing and new graduate applications.
Location of practice within easy reach of Manchester/Liverpool, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
One Day off each week and a 1 in 4 Saturday. No OOH.

We are continually striving to improve the services we offer with new equipment and techniques to provide the latest and best treatments for the animals under our care. We are one of the first practices in the country to offer laser surgery.
Our main surgery is conveniently located on Preston New Road, close to the centre of Blackburn. There is parking both at the front and a large car park at the rear of the building. The surgery is fully equipped with laboratory, x-ray, ultrasound and cutting edge surgical facilities. There is an upstairs flat for nurse accommodation.
Our Darwen surgery opened in 2009. It is handily located in the centre of Darwen in what used to be the station master's house and has its own car parking. It is the only vets in Darwen to offer onsite operating and dental facilities as well as consultations. Our staff here have many years experience in caring for Darwen's pets.
