RVN – South Coast England (Near Portsmouth)

We are looking for registered day and night Veterinary nurses to join our friendly, expanding team. Excellent salary, hours negotiable.

The Practice
We are an expanding, independent, multidisciplinary referral centre on the South Coast, delivering a high level, affordable service to clients and referring vets.

Currently we offer referrals in ophthalmology, internal medicine and surgery. We have 6 consult rooms, two dedicated theatres and procedure rooms and dog and cat wards.

The Role
You will need to be an RVN, an excellent communicator who is able to work using their own initiative to deliver quality care to our patients and clients.  Referral experience is not needed as full training will be provided by our friendly team.

Duties will include: assisting the veterinary surgeons with procedures, caring for the animals, maintaining stock and cleaning surgical areas. You will need to operate a variety of medical machinery including monitors, anaesthetic machines, incubators and ultra sound machines.

There is a shared on-call weekend rota (1.8) off site only with no phones.

Successful Candidate
Qualified and experienced, efficient, professional and courteous veterinary nurse with excellent communication skills. Flexibility is key.
