Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon - Stornoway - Isle of Lewis, Scotland

A mixed practice in the Hebrides, North West Scotland.
70% small – 30% large animal.

A fantastic opportunity for a vet to join our busy island practice where you will have a varied caseload where you will develop your knowledge and experience with full support, as we are the only veterinary practice on the Isle of Lewis.

The Practice

• Well established for many years
• We are still independently owned.
• Seeking individual to join our dedicated team of 4 vets.

The Role

• Working with team of 4 vets
• Rota through the week for consultations, surgical time and visits.
• Working 1 night on call through the week.
• 1 weekend in 4 on call

Successful Candidate
We would welcome applications from experienced vets and new graduates.

The practice is located in stornoway in the beautiful isle-of-lewis tucked away in the hebrides of north west scotland.

The isle of lewis offers fantastic opportunites to explore island life with amazing history, heritage, wilderness, wildlife, crofting culture, beautiful beaches and offers superb walking settings, with good regular transport connections to the mainland.
