Full-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse - Lichfield, Staffordshire

We are looking for an experienced RVN to join our ever-expanding team. Your main duties would include preparing patients for surgery, maintaining plus monitoring anaesthesia, assisting the veterinary surgeons, recovering patients and cleaning / preparing surgical kits.

The Practice
West Midlands Referrals was established in 2011. We aim to provide a high standard of care across all our orthopaedic, medical and ophthalmology cases. We offer fixed prices to our clients so that there are no hidden costs. 

The Role
All of our nurses are experienced RVNS, experience in referral practice is not essential as training will be given. We do expect our nurses to be competent with anaesthesia plus general nursing. Our nurses assist all our vets covering orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, medical cases and ophthalmology.

Successful Candidate
We are looking for a friendly, confident nurse to join our team.

The Package
We encourage and pay for relevant CPD including diploma for advanced nursing, certificate in anaesthesia and analgesia, certificate in emergency plus critical care. There are no OOH, weekend on call is approx. 1 in 12. We offer a pension scheme, 4 weeks holiday increasing to 5 weeks post probation period.
