Our client is experiencing tremendous growth in the UK and global market place and are looking to develop a brand new role within their UK business. As a family owned business they have received multiple awards for their animal products and are committed to improving the lives of animals through innovative, smart and valuable solutions.

Reporting directly into the National Sales Manager the role’s primary mission is to develop business in a profitable and sustainable way with major key accounts.

Key Account Business Development  • Maintain and/or develop sales & profitability with key accounts. • Continually developing relationships at all levels within your key accounts. • Developing a deep understanding of customer’s operating methods and needs. • Propose business development ideas related to key accounts. • Develop knowledge and “current best practice” respect to key accounts.

Role Profile: • Excellent knowledge of the animal health market, ideally with good experience and knowledge gained within the Companion Animal sector. • Previous strong sales / key account management experience. • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and occasionally within Europe.  • Desirable if you’ve gained experience previously within the Companion UK key account marketplace and are able to utilise a good network of contacts.Candidate Qualities: • As a brand new role it is imperative that the individual taking on this new position is commercially minded, and a team player with an entrepreneurial self-starting spirit. • As a solution orientated business they look to employ smart and creative individuals who also share their philosophy and beliefs, and wish to truly make a difference within the companion animal health marketplace. • An excellent presenter who exudes confidence and shows tenacity and commitment to leading the team and driving the UK business forward.
