Front of House Receptionist – Surrey – REF10365

Are you a veterinary Nurse looking for a new challenge still within practice?

My clients are looking for a bubbly person with previous experienced as a receptionist and/or nurse with excellent customer service skill in their Surrey Practice.

You will first port of call to the practices patients’ families, clients and colleagues at their state-of-the-art veterinary hospital in a Front of House position.

You will report to the Client Services Manager and work collaboratively with other team members, clients and colleagues to meet the needs of patients and their families, improving the service delivery and the patient journey.

You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care together with compassionate communication for patients you meet daily. You will be care driven, exceptionally organised, thorough, have excellent communication skills and be able to operate in a 24/7 team environment.

The role involves shift work and the rota includes evening and weekend working.

40 hours a week with shift patterns 7.30 – 3.30pm/8 – 4pm/9 – 5pm and 12 – 8pm

1 in 5 Saturdays 9 – 5pm for working a Saturday you will get a day off after so would work a 4 day week after.

Responsibilities and tasks:

· Meet and greet clients and organise refreshments

· Make sure clients are signed in and colleagues are informed that their clients have arrived

· First point of contact for telephone calls, handle queries, take messages and re-route calls

 · Book client appointments

· Process incoming email and post

· Update client records as appropriate

· Respond to queries and resolve issues

· Cash handling

· In addition to your main duties you will be required to carry out such other duties consistent with your position to meet the needs of the Practice and as the Practice may from time to time require
