We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate surgeon with drive and ambition to lead our surgical referral service, currently providing referrals in soft tissue, orthopaedics (including THR and arthroscopy), spinal surgery, medicine, cardiology and dermatology.

We have excellent modern hospital facilities here at Lime Trees Vets, including AO standard and locking plate equipment and EVOLOX, IMEX linear and ring fixators. We have equipment for TTA and TPLO, surgitome and associated spinal surgery kit, laparoscopy equipment, TA and GIA staplers. We have regular access to CT and MRI on site, and a steady stream of interesting surgical cases from a dedicated and committed medicine team which includes certificate holders and advanced practitioners.

As of August, VetsNow are relocating to our hospital and will provide our out-of-hours care.  We anticipate this will further increase our surgical caseload, which is currently a diverse mix of stifle and airway surgery, fracture repairs and oncological surgery e.g. lung/liver lobectomies, maxilectomies etc.  

We are located just off the A50 in North Staffordshire, an ideal location to suit any lifestyle with both city life and idyllic countryside just a stone's throw away.
