Hospital Administrator (Equine & Farm Animal)
Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies
£27,285 - £31,604pa
An enthusiastic motivated individual who enjoys a varied role is needed to join a small team reporting to the Director of Clinical Services at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. You will be responsible for ensuring larger clinical projects are driven forward for all clinics and will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and smooth running of the practice management system (PMS). You will also help provide an administrative support service, primarily to the Directors of Equine and Farm Animal Practice. You will have a farm and equine practice focus but duties will overlap to the small animal clinical area, especially for duties related to the PMS.
You will be responsible for handling sensitive information and maintaining work management systems that facilitate the smooth operation of the hospitals. You will lead on any projects requiring significant clinical input and you will understand the needs of the clinics: both legally, educationally and commercially. You will have a high level of organisational and interpersonal skills and experience of working in a veterinary environment. We need an enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised, manage deadlines and conduct multiple tasks.
In return, you will work in a dynamic and reputable School on a growing campus with good transport links, gym and childcare facilities (nursery opening later in 2018) in addition to a competitive salary and good pension benefits.
