Office & Field Based Dairy Sales Manager - Lytham, Lancashire

A great opportunity to work for a well recognised and established market leader in ruminant nutrition

This roles is office based in Lytham, Lancashire but will involve regular travel - As a dairy sales manager you would expect to be away from home two to three nights per week.

Full time position

Our client is offering between £35,000 - £40,000 for this role as well as a company vehicle, phone laptop and other benefits.

Main Responsibilities;

1. Management - Manage the Area Sales Manager network.
2. Sales Performance - Achieve the company's Area Sales Manager sales plan and make regular weekly contact with the Area Sales Manager network via personal visit or telephone contact.
3. Dual Calling - Work in the field with the Area Sales Managers, providing them with selling skills and complete knowledge on how to sell products and giving verbal and written feedback after each visit.
4. Sales Training - Provide sales training to the Area Sales Manager network and keep the Area Sales Manager team up to date on competitor developments. Ensure that the Area Sales Manager team are efficient in their field call planning, focus and implementation.
5. Attend Key National and Regional Shows - Help organise and manage key shows and event both regionally and nationally.
6. Universities and Colleges - Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the field.
7. Ensure Efficient and Effective Personal Reporting - Provide detailed daily, weekly and month reports.
8. Participate Positively in Regional Sales Meetings - Effectively review sales performance in sales meetings.
 

About You;

The successful candidate for this roles must have a minimum of a 2.1 in either Agriculture or Business Studies. The candidate must have a good understanding of dairy farming, concept selling, customer services and care and a willing to grasp and accept the policies and procedures of the company.

The ideal candidate must have an ability to lead by example and be an excellent communicator with good IT knowledge and time management skills.
