Dairy Product Manager - Lancashire

Our client is a well recognised leader at the forefront of ruminant nutrition.

This role is office based in Lytham, Lancashire, however, will involve regular travel.

Full time position.

Salary £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience as well as a company vehicle and phone.

Main Responsibilities;

1. Product Sales - Ensure that overall sales plans for the products are achieved or exceeded
2. Participation at Shows and Events - Organise and manage all key shows and events both regionally and nationally.
3. Universities and Colleges - Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the field
4. Marketing - Liaise with the Divisional Director and Farm Division Marketing Manager to design and implement product campaigns including direct mail, telephone and advertising
5. Sales Training - Provide sales training to company staff, both internal and external
6. Technical Training - Provide technical and product training to company staff both internal and external
7. Provide Effective Sales and Business Reports - Submit daily and weekly call reports
8. Dual Calling - Work in the field with sales representatives, providing them with selling skills and complete knowledge on how to sell products
9. Company Culture - Share creative ideas with team members and management to ensure best practice

About You;

The successful candidate for this role must have a minimum 2.1 degree in either Agriculture or Business Studies. They must have a good understanding of concept selling and extensive knowledge of the dairy sector.

The successful candidate must also have proven sales skills in a customer-driven environment as well as previous sales experience ideally selling similar ruminant products in the same field.
