Unique opportunity in Northumberland - we have hills, beautiful beaches, castles and we're not far from the vibrant cities of Edinburgh and Newcastle.
An exciting opportunity an experienced vet surgeon to join us at Alnorthumbria. This is a full time, exclusively small animal, position which will be based at our Fairmoor, Morpeth Surgery. Our practice is well equipped and is a purpose built clinic to make the job more enjoyable. We have an excellent nursing team to support you in your role and make the job more rewarding and hopefully more satisfying.
The position will include a share of an excellent on call rota. It is essential you hold a driving licence, as you will be required to travel between sites.

Alnorthumbria Vets is a mixed practice that treats all species of domestic animals (and a few wild ones as well). Within the practice, the vets have developed special interests, so we have separate teams of vets dedicated to the care of farm animals, horses and small animals (dogs, cats and other small pets).
We have nine centres across Northumberland, from Wooler in the north to Ponteland in the south. We pride ourselves on offering a genuine 24 hour service, and on professional and individual care backed up by a wealth of experience and expertise.
