RVN – Yorkshire, Selby & Sherburn-in-Elmet

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time RVN (or soon to be) to join our Small Animal clinic, working within our growing friendly and supportive team. The practice is situated in a pretty rural village in North Yorkshire, with excellent access to road and rail networks. Both branches are within easy reach of Leeds and York as well as the Dales, Moors and East Coast if preferred.

We are an independently owned small animal practice with RCVS accredited premises across two branch sites and an Outstanding RCVS award for Client Care as well as Good in Patient Service Care. We have also received an award for Best Company Culture in a recent Business awards.

Nursing skills are encouraged and utilised in full with busy consult and surgical lists. You would join our friendly clinical team of 7 Vets, 9 RVNs 2 SVNs 2 VCAs with the support of 8 receptionists,

The full time position is based on a 37.5 hrs per week and 1 in 7 on call rota. We enjoy a flexible rota that provides an excellent work life balance.

We would ideally like an RVN to take charge at our branch practice but we can also offer a full time position at the main clinic.

We currently have 7 vets with a wealth of experience, including a small animal certificate holder and visiting specialists in cardiology, small animal medicine and dermatology.  We have a large and varied caseload .We are an established practice but are still actively growing with over 6000 clients and over 9000 patients.

Equipment: Ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscope, therapeutic laser, acupuncture

The Brayton surgery has undergone a radical overhaul including an extension and full refurbishment to the existing building which now provides more consulting rooms, two new surgical suites and onsite accommodation.

We can offer short term accommodation to assist with relocation if necessary.
