A globally renowned pharmaceutical company are continuing to grow their market share in the UK. They are seeking an experienced professional to fulfil a National Account Manager position for the UK .

•    We are interested in talking to motivated self-starters who are excited by the prospects of hard work and the rewards it will bring. You should have a science, veterinary or other technical degree qualification and established contacts within the veterinary sector as well as have proven sales success and effective marketing skills.

•    The ideal candidate will already be of National Account Management or Key Account  Management level looking to make the next step for career progression. You must be able to present well and demonstrate your drive and enthusiasm for this role in a positive manner. Reporting to the Account Controller, this role is responsible for understanding fully the needs and opportunities of key influential customers with in the highest potential customer segmentation and collaborating to create and support clear and actionable Joint Business Plans (JBPs). To support the above aims, the role has an emphasis on customer relationship development at all levels within the customer organisations.
•    This role is, in addition, responsible for:
o    Responsibility for developing business from both a head office and practice level by working closely with the wider team.
o    Working effectively with the wider cross functional team internally and externally, including marketing, technical, finance and territory management teams, to ensure delivery on customer expectations.
o    Ensuring that the customer is heard in brand planning and that brand needs are met in the development of JBPs.
o    Implementing pricing and promotional strategies to move discussions with customers forward.
o    Increasing the brand presence and share of wallet within accounts and building strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
o    Delivery and execution of tactically important customer projects
o    Supporting the Senior Manager in negotiations, advising on BATNA positions and ensuring profitability is potected and balanced against growth opportunities
o    Positioning the business as a key strategic partner with our major customers.
o    Actively supporting the development of collaborative planning processes with our key customers.
