12 month contract.

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced mixed/large animal Veterinary Surgeon to join the Research and Development team in a multinational pharmaceutical company as a Veterinary Adviser and Clinical Veterinary Surgeon. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Research, the Veterinary Surgeon will be involved in all activities in the Research and Development Department.
The successful applicant will be involved in clinical trials as part of an innovative pharmaceutical development programme, in addition to sharing responsibility for the clinical care of a number of species, both small and large animals, at Norbrook’s clinical research facility. The successful applicant will also be involved in Pharmacovigilance investigation and reporting. The successful applicant will also have a number of animal technicians reporting to them. Other duties would include the provision of technical support to the Sales teams and Sales and Marketing Department, as well as dealing with customer queries.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Degree registerable with RCVS
- Experience in veterinary practice
