About the role

On the outskirts of leafy Essex, and within a 10-minute drive of bustling Wanstead is our first opinion Barking practice, where we are looking for a vet to complete the team on a 3-day week basis. If you were looking for 4 days, we could explore options!

This role is Wednesday to Friday, 1:4 branch Saturdays and 1:8 Sundays in Wanstead Hospital.

This is a sole charge position, but you will have the full support from an experienced RVN and SVN, and you will be first port of call for day-to-day consultations and routine surgeries.

Barking is well supported clinically by Wanstead 24-hour hospital that provides its surrounding branches with invaluable OOH and internal referral care.

There is state of the art diagnostic support at Wanstead, with a new CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.

You will also be fully supported by a dedicated regional manager, and regional head vet for any clinical support you may need.
