Company

Established in 1949, Highgate Veterinary Clinic provided an excellent service for all varieties of companion and farm animals in Kendal and the surrounding areas for 62 years. In 2011, dropping the farm and equine sides of the business, Highgate Vets became the first practice in Kendal totally dedicated to caring for pets and further refined it’s high level of veterinary expertise, client and patient care.

Our vets have many years of combined experience with a wide range of professional interests and skills meaning that most conditions including complex diagnoses, treatment and surgery can be carried out at the clinic, often without the need for a referral centre. In March 2015, Highgate Veterinary Clinic expanded, opening Highgate Vets @ Beezon Road as a branch surgery. The Beezon Road clinic is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm for a full range of services. Highlights of amenities include a purpose built dental suite, exceptional cat-friendly facilities and easy parking too.

The team actively seek to improve patient care and customer service. All of the vets, nurses and reception staff regularly attend training to further extend and develop their skills. The vets meet each weekday morning to discuss inpatients and seek each other’s thoughts and opinions about their current cases or the latest findings in veterinary research.
