Company

We are vets who care

We are a small, friendly team of vets and have been providing veterinary care in the area for over 30 years. Our aim is to provide a caring and quality veterinary service dedicated to the needs of our clients and their pets throughout all stages of their lives.

We do understand that coming into the clinic can potentially be an anxious time, particularly when your pet is ill, but we do our utmost to ensure each visit is as stress free and as positive an experience as possible.

All of our staff are pet owners themselves, so we understand that pets are honorary family members and that we want them to be as comfortable, happy and healthy as possible.

As with human medicine, prevention is better than cure. Regular health checks, keeping vaccines and anti-parasitic treatments up to date, using some sort of dental care (brushing, chews or dental biscuits) and monitoring bodyweight will help ensure your pet remains healthy and fulfils its maximum life expectancy.

When we do find disease, early detection and treatment usually mean less needs to be done to fix the problem, or for conditions that are managed rather than cured (eg arthritis, or chronic kidney disease) then early intervention increases longevity and slows down progression.
