The Role
Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for exotic animals? Are you looking to lead an exotics team in a progressive and supportive environment where your skills make a real impact? If so, we would love to hear from you!
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who holds an exotics certificate with at least 2 years of exotics experience. You should be confident in performing exotics surgeries and enthusiastic about leading and inspiring a team.
We have a fully trained nursing team, 2 exotics vets and 2 in training.
The exotics team lead would be the clinical director of the exotics team and as such would mentor the exotics team where required, broaden the exotics facilities and services, expand our exotics clientele and oversee our exotics procedures, protocols and standards of care. There is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to have shares in the part of the business they have inspired and grown.
Exotics are a significant part of our practice, with 20% of our work dedicated to exotic pets. While exotics will be your main focus, the role can also include treating small animals.

- Competitive Salary: €55,000 to €75,000 per year, depending on experience (40 hours/week)

Successful Candidate
Exotics certificate holder with 2 years exotics work experience. The candidate must be strong on exotics surgery of all types. They must be enthusiastic about their work and inspire their colleagues. We would love a candidate that had a dream of an exotics referral hospital in which they were directly involved and had some ownership in. (we will provide the supportive environment to achieve that dream). We like kind people who will help and support their colleagues.
