Job Details

That’s right, the most beautiful part of London with dream clientele are seeking a progressive and experienced veterinary surgeon to be a part of this elite community hub.

Whilst applying for this special role, you are entering into the charm of the oldest emergency clinic in Europe. Thankfully, since our independent team took ownership last year, we have made a lot of very welcome adjustments to prove that whilst we may be the oldest, we are by far still the most prestigious and modern entity of high level pet care in the area.

Elizabeth Street Vets has developed its team and equipment to now require a further vet to support their busy days.

Alterations to our imposing base have seen us expand areas within to ensure the clinic is keeping up with offering the very best equipment and services available to our long-standing clients and their pets.

  • We offer 24-hour care – nights are supported by our own
in-house dedicated wide awake night team – continuous care for all
  • Separate dog and cat wards and isolation area
  • Lab room
  • Increased consult room space
  • Equipment to cover all advanced imaging, endoscopy, orthopaedic, ophthalmic and general practice desires

This really is the dream for those vets who are keen to work up their cases with clients who are keen to say yes to your suggestions. We offer longer than standard consulting sessions so that you can really get to know your patients and provide the level of care any new colleague would want to offer.

We can offer accommodation or an allowance to suit with a huge CPD package that far outweighs any other veterinary provider in London.

Our rota is as plush as our clientele with 1 week out of 4 only working for 2 days.

This role isn’t for the faint hearted. We encourage our vets to be real vets. We want you to progress, become involved in building your clinical reputation and join us in celebrating being the continuously awarded Best Vets in London. We applaud you taking care for pets as far as your skills and those of your colleagues allow. Do not let equipment needs stop you in your career! You want it? We’ll buy it – and that’s not a corporate promise.

Our independence allows us to think on out feet, move and support our vet team quickly to ensure your days are rewarding and valued.

If you’d like to know more, please get in touch for an informal, confidential conversation. Our Senior Clinical Team have over 100 years between them of supporting the very best vets in the business – our huge success isn’t luck, it’s proven results.

Salary up to £80,000, depending on experience.
