At Anderson Vets in Orpington, we are an independent practice with our clients at our forefront. Giving our vets clinical freedom to work up cases in the best way possible in a supportive, light-hearted environment without being stressed about reaching targets. We have an excellent reputation with both clients and staff and are always keen for fresh ideas to ensure we continue to evolve and develop. We are located within proximity to the M25, with easy train links into London (within 30 minutes).

The Role

A vacancy has arisen as one of our vets is relocating to Canada. Our well-equipped practice includes laparoscopy, Tonovet, Slit lamp, new ultrasound machine, dental x-rays, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, IDEXX labs and endoscopy. With six full-time vets, including certificate holders in ophthalmology and cardiology, we accept local referrals and host visiting surgeons for in-house orthopaedics and advanced soft tissue procedures. Our team also comprises 6 RVNs, 1 SVN and 2 VCA’s.

The full-time rota includes a 4-day week with 1:4 Saturdays (9-5). There is no out-of-hours, bank holidays or Sundays. Part-time applications would be considered. Generally, the week will consist of 2 operating days and 2 consulting days, with a 1-hour lunch break and 2 slots for admin catch up.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team. We encourage and support further CPD/certificates in chosen areas of interest. Our emphasis is on providing a high level of service and to ensuring an excellent client experience.

The Package

• Salary between £35,000 to £65,000
