Job Details
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse for maternity leave cover for a fixed term of 12 months with the possibility to extend further, to join our team here at Carterton Vets. The job role offers a varied caseload of work within a small team of Vets and Nurses. The day-to-day duties include caring for inpatients, surgical nursing, anaesthesia, nursing clinics, reception and much more. 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
About Us
Carterton Veterinary Surgery is a purpose-built small animal first-opinion practice which opened its doors to business in 2014. The practice has a large reception with separate dog and cat areas, separate dog and cat wards, a large prep room with an isolation kennel, an imaging room, a dental theatre, and a surgical theatre. We are a small team who work together to create a good environment for ourselves and our clients. We are located in West Oxfordshire on the edge of the Cotswolds, close to Oxford and within easy reach of London.
Our team consists of 2 FTE Vets, 3.5 FTE Nurses, 1 Student Nurse and one Practice Manager. Two of our Vets are studying towards small animal medicine certificates.
We are a small, friendly team who get on well both in and out of the practice.
Applicant Requirements
The successful applicant will be an RVN with at least 2 years experience
