Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our busy animal practice at Luton Gipsy Lane for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and welcoming team on a fixed term contract! Start date to be confirmed, estimated August.
Based on the Luton Retail Park in the Pets at Home store, we can offer a fantastic location to work, as well as plenty of onsite parking and a train station next door.
You will be joining a long established animal practice which is still growing year on year with a supportive team that includes 4 Vets, 3 RVNs, 3 SVN, 1 VCAs, a Practice Manager and 6 Receptionists.
As a friendly, welcoming and supportive team, we enjoy evenings out together. Our new team member will be supported, and in turn support other members, promoting wellbeing and a positive work environment.
Our practice is built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment which includes In-house lab, digital X-ray, ultrasound and multi-parameter. We see a variety of cases and have built a loyal client base within our fantastic local community.
We’re looking for a vet that’s used to the day-to-day procedures of a small animal practice and happy with the routine surgeries. You should demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation. We are looking for a friendly, down-to-earth Surgeon, who has a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoys the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
This is a part time position, 32 hours per week based on 3 full days (Weds, Thurs and Fri) with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis and no OOH. Shorter hours will be considered.
In return of your dedication and high quality work, we can offer:
If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service and would like to join our team, we would love to hear from you.
