Salary up to £70,000 Plus up to £5000 relocation Allowance

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon (preferably with a Surgical Bias) to join our teams, in a dual sited role, at White Cross Vets Hyde & Sale. This role is a full-time role, covering 40 hours per week, over 4 days with a share of a Saturday rota. There is no OOH required for this role.

About the practices

Hyde is currently a four vet practice. Our Clinic Director has an internal medicine certificate and loves to tackle all aspect of soft tissue surgery. One of our other vets has a keen interest in exotic pets and has started an exotic certificate this year. The team are extremely passionate about providing a gold standard first opinion service.

The Hyde practice has great facilities including 4 consult rooms, cat ward, dog ward, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, full in-house laboratory, ultrasound and access to endoscope if needed. One of the best parts of working at Hyde is the enthusiastic team who work closely together. We love to bond over our shared love of food with regular meals out together, along with regularly partaking in some serious competition with the local pub quiz and “Breakout” rooms. There are also some very active members of the team, who join forces in training for 10k’s and our weekly Fitbit challenge.

At Sale, we're a small, friendly team who are looking to welcome another Veterinary Surgeon. Sale is a new, purpose-built practice with great facilities including 4 consult rooms, cat ward, dog ward, isolation ward, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and brand-new laparoscopic equipment.

We are also a training practice and so would encourage anyone who has a desire to become a clinical coach. We have achieved the IVC Evidensia patient safety award and we are an ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic and one of our nursing team has a keen interest in behaviour and has undergone further training, so we are keen to develop this service at clinic level.

The team at Sale are extremely hard-working but we also love to have a laugh whilst we work. We have regular funded team days out doing activities such as escape rooms, kayaking, axe throwing and crazy golf to name just a few! We also hold monthly wellbeing afternoons where we have watched movies, a Mario Kart tournament, yoga session, a baby shower and played various board and card games. We are a clinically progressive practice who hold monthly team meetings and encourage input from all team members, we take into consideration any suggestions that are put forward.
